Welcome to Son-Shine Corner!

We all know how important it is for a child's first school experience to be a good one. If daycare is not your choice, but a warm Christian environment is, then please take a few moments to acquaint yourself with our school.

Son-Shine Corner is a nine month school, following a traditional school schedule, with two weeks off at Christmas, a week at Spring Break, etc.

Son-Shine Corner strives to help your child expand his/her self-confidence and love for Christ and others. We offer a loving , nurturing educational experience for your child.

Son-Shine Corner is a ministry of Wayzata Evangelical Free Church of Plymouth, Minnesota.

Classrooms
Our 3 classrooms are furnished with toys, games, puzzles, dress up clothes, crafts, dramatic play items, and sometimes animals like hamsters. Tactile experiences including Play-Doh and sensory tubs. Blocks and a paint easel are always available for the children as well.

Lunchroom
We have a lunchroom where we provide a nutritious snack during the morning and afternoon sessions. Son-Shine Corner is very sensitive to allergies and provides a peanut free environment.

Play Area
Our indoor play area provides a place where children can run and be active indoors when the weather does not allow for outdoor play.

Playground
Our playground is where the children can really get the "sillies" out as they slide, swing, and play tag. They enjoy this free time for approximately a half hour each session.

Son-Shine Corner is located in Plymouth, Minnesota just 15 minutes west of downtown Minneapolis.

Turn right and proceed approximately 1/2 mile
The church and school are on the west side of County Road 101
The Son-Shine Corner door has a red awning and is located on the west side of the church on the first floor.
